Attorneys at Blachly Tabor Bozik & Hartman Ring in the Holidays, Help Raise Money

Attorneys, staff and family members continued its annual tradition of ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at the JC Penny store in Valparaiso in December. “This has been part of our firm’s ‘family tradition’ of helping other families in need during the holidays by ringing the bell and raising money,” said Partner Randall J. Zromkoski of the annual event. The firm’s founders, Quentin Blachly and Glenn Tabor set a standard for community involvement 50 years ago that continues today.

The firm also sponsors a family selected by the Salvation Army, and purchases gifts for the family’s children and parents. The firm has been given families that generally have unusual circumstances that have included service to the country in the armed services or a difficult family situation. “We all recognize how truly fortunate we and our families are, and feel we should give something extra to help others during the holidays,” Zromkoski said. In addition to helping the Salvation Army at Christmas, many of the firm’s attorneys are involved with the community’s not-for-profits, serving as volunteers and board members, and giving much needed financial support.

“This is a legacy from our firm’s founders that we want to honor,” Zromkoski stated.
